Cherry Mobile Omega is now available, But downgraded???

Finally, the much anticipated Cherry Mobile Omega is now available in the Philippine market. The long wait is over for Cherry Mobile fanatics as the company's official blog announced just days ago the release of the Omega.

But there is something disappointing to the Cherry Mobile fans. In my previous post last month quoting the Facebook page of Cherry Mobile and Blogs, the specification of the device was announced. But now, as the Cherry Mobile Omega was officially launched, it is noticeable that the specs were downgraded based on the details that can be found from the blog. If the content of the blog was true, then the Cherry Mobile Omega is NOT the Zopo ZP900 as what other bloggers claimed last year. The main camera of the Cherry Mobile Omega is now 5MP in contrast to the previous announcement which circulated in almost all blogs that it has 8MP camera. Likewise the front camera is only VGA camera, a big difference of what has previously known to be with 2MP. The screen display is now 5.2 inch very slightly downgraded from 5.3-inch based on previous announcement.

Here's the specification of the Cherry Mobile Omega.
