Cloudfone is relatively new brand of mobile phone in the Philippines. In compared to Cherry Mobile, this China rebranded phone is not that popular. In fact, it was only this year that I heard this brand name. I am not really techie! But since I am an avid blog reader (I love reading technology blogs), it caught my attention. I came across with this brand and visited the Cloudfone website to find out more info about this brand. I was also surprised that like Cherry Mobile, this brand is likewise selling high-end smartphones at very competitive prices.
Here are Cloudfone smartphone.
Cloudfone Thrill 430x. This smartphone runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system platform. The processor is rated at 1.2GHz from Qualcomm. So just like popular Android run devices, we can also download applications in Google Play store. It has a 4.3-inch IPS QHD Capacitive Touch Screen. The screen size is actually bigger than that of popular iPhone 5 by Apple. If you love taking photos, then this Cloudfone Thrill 430 will definitely suit your lifestyle. Its main camera is 8MP with dual LED flash. So if you are planning to buy low end camera, why not try this smartphone first. Its camera resolution is almost comparable to some Sony smartphone camera. Cloudfone Thrill 500g. This smartphone from Cloudfone Mobile is comparable to Cherry Mobile Titan in terms of screen size display. With 5.0-inch display, it is bigger than Cloudfone Thrill 430x. Other specs are slightly lower than the Thrill 430 such as the main camera which is only 5MP. It also runs on Android 4.0 ICS and with Dual Stand by functionality. Its processor is a little bit down at 1GHz Snapdragon. The price of this phone is Php 6,999.00
Cloudfone Thrill 430G. This smartphone from Cloudfone Mobile was made for people with simple lifestyle. Its screen size display is similar to Cloudfine Thrill 430x but specification is a little bit down. It runs also on Android 4.0 ICS with 5MP main camera. To note the comparison, it is the smaller brother of Thrill 500G.

A lot of users gave positive comments on this brand. I just wish that the manufacturers or dealers of this brand should come up with a lot of Product Demo Video so would be users will have an easy time to choose which model suites him best.

ReplyDeleteI own one, and the camera's crappy. There have been lost of posts on their facebook wall about the error "Cannot connect to the camera." According to the people at the service center (Xpress repair Megamall), it really is a known problem with this model and a component has to be replaced for the camera to work again. The audio for its video recording is not good too. If not for those 2 things, I would have rated this phone 4.5 stars out of 5. It would have been a nicer phone if it had fm radio (contrary to all the earlier reviews, it DOES NOT have a built-in fm radio). If it had a dual core processor, I'd have given it a 5.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. I have cloudfone thrill 500g. 3 times na po na replace dahil daming sira.. Una ang network. second ung LCD and now the camera. tagal pa nmang mabalik ung fone. I am in cebu and service center are in Manila. it takes more than a month bago mabalik...grrrr

I have the Thrill 500g the one with the largest screen, so far i have been happy but wtf,i can't connect to the camera!!! error! took me 2 months to get it repaired with RC goldline, then when i got the phone back, within 24 hours the camera started acting up again, wtf "can't connect to the camera" really sucks bigtime!!!
